I am going to be getting my underarms waxed soon. This will be my first time (and I'm scared
!)
But that's not what this is about...
I don't know how much to tip the lady! I've called the salon/spa and found out information:
$20 for underarm - the cheapest I could find in my town
She has 8 years experience
They use a multitude of different waxes (hard, soft, etc)
But what should I tip? I've never been really good at figuring this out. I always tend to over tip b/c when I decide on 15 or 20% it always seems like too little.
So what do you tip? For underarm, eyebrow, bikini? Do you just tip one certain percent or does it change with what is being waxed? - Obviously it changes on the service, but assuming you get good service...
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Kikidawn

Ok so here's the background story -
I have an awesome hair stylist that works at an exclusive salon. So since I'm not a member she cuts my hair on the side at her house. I have used her since I was 15 (I'm 22 now). She wasn't always at this salon and when I first started using her it was at another salon that I could use (not-exclusive). This arrangement (she cuts my hair on the side) is a new situation.
I had my hair cut about a month ago - basically just a trim. She charged me $25 and I gave her a $10 tip. I wasn't sure about tipping her and how much. So I just did that.
Here is my question - I am going to her house tomorrow night (Friday) to get my hair cut again - this time a complete new style (probably about 5 inches cut off). She will probably style my hair afterward as she generally does this.
Should I tip since she is getting all the money and doesn't have to share with owner, etc?
If I should tip ... what percentage?
Thank you!!
I'm looking to start using natural/organic "good for you" beauty products!!! But I don't know which ones to use... or even where to start... I am so confused
I'd like information on shampoo/conditioners, soaps, moisturizers, facial products, makeup, etc....
I've heard these are good:
www.burtsbees.com
http://www.aubrey-organics.com/
http://www.lamasbeauty.com/
Any other suggestions? Are the ones listed above good?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Everyone,
I just had this bright idea to make a mixed CD for my mom for Mother's Day. I've thought about some good songs to put on there (like her favorites), and I also want to put songs about mothers and daughters on there.
The only problem? It's really close to Mother's Day now and I don't have enough time to research on my own!!
So any suggestions/help would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks so much!!!
